Afrofuturism is a literary and cultural aesthetic that combines elements of science fiction, fantasy and magic realism with non-Western cosmologies in order to examine issues of race and ethnicity. Our panelists will discuss the history of the aesthetic and offer examples of the best books, movies and music.
