In Live Action Slush, attendees bring the first page of their works-in-progress, and turn them in anonymously to the panel. The reader reads each submission aloud, and the panelists listen, raising their hands when they hear something that would have made them turn down the submission for publication. When all three hands are raised, the panelists discuss what the writer needs to do to make the manuscript better.
