Counselor by day, cosplayer by nights and weekends, Michael Burson has been dressing up like a wizard since reading Sorcerer's Stone in 1998. 21 years later, his robes are now just better constructed. Michael has been cosplaying together with his wife Hayley since 2015 and takes care of the patterning and sewing in their costuming duo. He is mostly self-taught but has benefited a lot by taking sewing classes through CPCC and lots and lots of YouTube tutorials. Michael is a proud Ravenclaw, collects wands from the Harry Potter franchises (73 to date), enjoys walks with his dog Bilbo, and is forever adding projects from the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Wizarding World, Disney, and Marvel fandoms to his cosplan list.
